Matt visits and measures
He measures every window himself, checks how each one opens, and brings samples of the louvres and colours so you can see them against your own windows. It takes about 45 minutes, and the visit is free.
Your written quote
By email, soon after the visit. It sets out exactly what's included, and it's fixed for 30 days, so you can take your time and talk it over.
Made to measure
Once you're happy and you've placed your order, your shutters are made to the exact sizes Matt measured. That usually takes around 4 to 6 weeks (or supplied and fitted in as little as 2 weeks in a real hurry, at an extra factory charge), and we'll keep you posted until fitting day.
Fitted
A standard window takes about an hour to fit, a bay about half a day, and a whole house usually one to two days. We install your shutters ourselves, check every panel opens and closes smoothly, clear up the dust, and show you how they work.
Aftercare
If anything needs adjusting in the first year, we come back free. And because we fit them, we fix them. After the first year, a visit to adjust a shutter, or repair one for a reason our guarantee doesn't cover, is £95 (VAT included) plus any parts; anything the guarantee covers is always free. (We only repair shutters we fitted ourselves.)

How to get ready for the visit
Clear a little space in front of each window so Matt can measure, and have a think about which rooms you'd like shutters in. If you have a paint colour in mind, have the chart handy.
Do I need to decide on the day?
No. Your quote comes by email after the visit and is fixed for 30 days. Take your time, talk it over, and ring us with any questions.
Curtain poles, blinds and old fittings
If there are curtain poles or blinds where the shutters will go, Matt will point them out at the visit. Please take them down before fitting day. If that's hard for you, just tell us and we'll see if we can help (it isn't part of the quote).
